OMG,,unbelivable! Could I ask you a question? In China, we say "重口味“ to decribe someone's quit ...

Sorry for not an early response at all! I understand your question and the expression you want translated. That is such a cool expression! I think I am such a person. We have the word eccentric. We can call a person eccentric and hobbies or interests eccentric which is close to 重口味. But it doesn't necessarily have to do with strong things in the way you mean. This is difficult to describe. I don't think there is something like that in English. We can say strong taste but it cannot be so generally used; cannot be used for music but can be used for food. So I think this is an example of something that is not directly translatable. But eccentric would be a good word to know that means something similar! It captures the part of the word having to do with being a rare or very different person or having to do with very different things. It is also not weird but just out of the ordinary so there is no negative evaluation. What do you think about this Amber? :) Hope this helps!!!

hello Anthony, how 'u doing buddy ,thanks for your great English lesson,it was fantastic, here I hope ...

Hello Bent!!! I love your enthusiasm and ambition ^o^ I have a very simple suggestion that might be hard. Try to talk a lot more with native English speakers and challenge yourself with difficult things to talk about! You have a very good ability to understand but still need more experience and practice with producing the language! That requires time to hone your abilities and polish your skills :) But don't worry! Just keep striving and practicing especially with native English speakers. That will help you the most. That is what any language learner needs to improve. My speaking ability in Mandarin is not so good and that is because I need to speak more with native speakers. So be aware that you just need to talk more with native English speakers in ways that challenge you!! You can do it Bent!!! ^o^ Glad you enjoyed my lesson and hope you can keep coming!! See you next time!

哈哈哈,谢谢你!为什么你觉得我很酷? 哈哈

对呀!我会说一点儿中文。我学了中文二多个学期。我的中文 ...

OMG,,unbelivable! Could I ask you a question? In China, we say "重口味“ to decribe someone's quite different(a sort of wackiness) from others in terms of  certain specific aspects. For instance, she likes food with a very strong/thick flavor such as stinky Tofu or somefood most people can't eat  or can't get used to the taste. Or in the aspect of film and television, he is crazy about this kind of movies which are super horrible, bloody or erotic..Those are the meanings of "重口味”。 So do you know use which phrase to translate it in your country? Appreciate your early answer!!!Thanks a lot.

hello Anthony, how 'u doing buddy ,thanks for your great English lesson,it was fantastic, here I hope that you could give me some help and maybe some advices with my English

So I'm just gonna go straight to my topic. Here is the case, I think  that right now ,I’m  in the bottleneck period of my English, that is to say,so far I don't know how to improve my English into a higher level.First of all,I wanna talk'bout what progress I've made in(on?) English so far. I'm in highschool now, senior year, and I can basically understand what people say when  watching  American TV series without the subtitles.

If scale from 1 to 10 ,my listening skill can probably get a 7.3  and if is my speaking skill ,I think it would be a 4,which literally means that if you put me into an Englishspeaking country,I won‘ be dead there. But if you let me say something like giving an opinion about  something or maybe a discussion ,it might get a little bit tough for me to really express what I think ,what is on my mind .Maybe I can do better in Chinese, but not for English. Thus it brings to my question, how can I improve my speaking skill, My Ultimate goal is that I can diliver an English speech with fluency and logicality.Thank you.
-Brent
